Kat Bull | Bridal Session | July 15, 2008

I had the opportunity to get to know one of my upcoming brides better when we went out for Kat's bridal session. Isn't she stunning? I can't wait to shoot her wedding this October. Thanks to Ericka Engleman for the beautiful dress and to Amanda Seely of Laughin' Gal Floral for the flowers. Here are some of my favorites from the day:

Jill & Chris | June 28, 2008

At one point during the reception, as the band was rocking and all the guests were on their feet moving and grooving, Chris asked me if I was having any fun or if it was just work. Well, I can without a doubt say that their wedding was easily one of the most fun I have had the pleasure to photograph. I am also glad the bride and groom made some extra time to go off site, just around the corner to the world famous 17 mile drive in Pebble Beach, to get some special shots of them and the bridal party. It was worth it. Take a look at some of my favs:

SCP Bowlathon I

We've been so busy! I have been meaning to post this since the whole crew went bowling a few weeks ago. It's nice for us all to get together, outside of work and have some fun as the busy wedding season rolls on.

Click here to check out a few shots from our first bowlathon.

I have an awesome wedding to share in the next day or two.

Monika & Tyler | June 28, 2008

With the fire raging down in Big Sur, the smoke and sunlight trying to break through made for a very interesting day and some errie lighting conditions. Stefani Chaney of the Carmel Valley Ranch was as always a pleasure to work with and made sure everything went perfectly. Congratulations to Monika & Tyler and thank you for having me.

Dried Flowers | Fine Art Prints

So every now and again I actually get the time to do something creative, just for the sake of it. I brought these flowers into the studio from my garden and let them dry out for a few weeks. And believe it or not I broke out a film camera! I shot this using a 4x5 monarail camera with Polaroid positive/negative film and really like the way it turned out. I was thinking about adding a Fine Art portfolio to my On1Breath website when we redo the site, we'll see what happens.
