Sonata & Jeff

Sonata & Jeff were an easy couple to work with. They are avid baseball fans and brought props with them as well as their cute little dogs. Check out a slideshow of my selects below:

Isabel Allende

I had the honor of photographing the New York Times best selling author Isabel Allende for Venice Magazine. She was sweet and charming and her husband William was nice enough to hold the reflector for me.

Allende, whose works sometimes contain aspects of the "magic realist" tradition, is one of the best-known women writers in Latin America. She is largely famous for novels such as The House of the Spirits (1982) and City of the Beasts (2002), which have been commercially very successful. Allende has been described as "the world’s most widely read Spanish-language author."

Check your local book store for her most recent novel The Island Beneath the Sea (2010).

2010 US Open Championship Fashion Shoot

Whether Tiger Woods will be at the 2010 US Open Championship at Pebble Beach is anybodies guess. Here is a sampling of some of the large photos you will see in the giant merchandising tent at Pebble Beach during the the US Open Championship. For you gear heads out there, my D3x camera had no problem making these 4x8 foot size images.

Nvidia CEO

Jen-Hsun Huang, CEO and President of NVIDIA, is one of the visionary leaders in Silicon Valley. His graphics card is probably in the computer you are using to read this right now. Recently he donated a building to Stanford. Here are some of the photographs we took for the annual report. He is a down to earth family man that loves to cook.

Francis & Wynne

There could not have been a better way to kick off the 2010 wedding season than with Francis and Wynne's wedding. Allison Weddings executed flawlessly from All Saints Church to the reception at Tehama Country Club. Fiona Floral provided an absolutely astonishing array of flowers at every turn. Classic Party Rentals erected an incredible tent, the likes of which I have never seen. Marina of Just Cake out did herself preparing not only a breathtaking bride's cake, but also an amazingly creative groom's cake that was a replica of Wynne's fraternity house. The Houston based family, who also spends a lot of time in their Carmel home, was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to designing their albums soon.
