Kim/Lee Wedding

Julia and Michael had a beautiful wedding service at the Carmel Mission followed by a traditional Korean tea ceremony at Bernardus. Julia was wearing an exquisite Carolina Herrera dress and Manolo Blahnik shoes. They both changed in to their gorgeous customary clothing for the traditional ceremony. The day was filled with love, laughter, and lots of bright colors. Thanks to Amy Byrd, the wedding coordinator, the day was a huge success. The lovely couple couldn’t resist the opportunity to do a quick improvised shooting session at the beach. Their outgoing and fun personalities showed all the way to the end of the night when the groom put on a “Just Married” sign.

Carmel Engagement Shoot

Sarah and Andrew made their way from Orange County for their engagement photos. She took the opportunity to go shopping for the occasion and came up with this stunning dress designed by Sue Wong. It fit right in as we roamed around the back alleys and streets of Carmel. Capping the afternoon off with a walk by Tiffany's where Sarah couldn't resist dragging Andrew in for a look.

Nicole & Jolon

I am really grateful for Julie, Spanish Bay's elite wedding planner, for sending me one of my favorite weddings of the season. Nicole works for Facebook and ironically she and Jolon used the social network to keep in touch after graduation.

Nicole entered the Carmel Mission wearing an exquisite Eve of Milady dress, complimented by her personally embellished white Nina's. The feather theme continued in the ballroom of the Inn at Spanish Bay. Dancing lasted until midnight fueled by the band Pop Fiction. The night came to a perfect end with Nicole and Jolon singing together on stage with the band followed by Jolon crowd-surfing, while wearing his King's crown.

Julia & Lane

Lane and Julia happened to be eating at one of my favorite restaurants Passion Fish. They noticed my On1breath underwater black and white photography adorning the walls. After a little research they found out that I photograph weddings.

Several months later I'm photographing their wedding in the Flood Mansion over looking the San Francisco Bay. Julia dressed at the Hotel Monaco, while Lane suited up across the street at the Clift. I took the wedding party to the Ferry Building for some photographs in front of the bay as well as the new retro rocket ship that was installed the week before. Everyone then headed to the Flood Mansion for the ceremony and reception with the live band Napata Mero. Lane is a graphic designer for an agency in San Francisco. I am always honored when another creative person hires me.
