Molly & Matt | Destination Nantucket, MA | June 14, 2008

Although the majority of our weddings are destination weddings, generally I only have to drive about 10 minutes to get to them. That being said, I was fortunate to work with Laurie Richards of Pixel Perfect and was able to travel to the little island of Nantucket, Massachusetts to photograph Molly & Matt's wedding. It was truly a high class affair - guys with their navy blazers, the cobblestone streets, old New England church, the elegant bride, and an outdoor tent reception to cap the night off. Photographed Lea Salonga for Venice Magazine

Getting back from Chicago the other day, I had the opportunity to photograph the Tony-award winning Lea Salonga for a long time client - Venice Magazine. I didn't know it but she won the Tony for her performance in Miss Saigon in 1989 and she was also the singing voice of Princess Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin (among a ton of other performances). My daughter Kate was most excited to hear that I had met Princess Jasmine that day. Take a look at Lea's website for more about her.

Rachel & Patrick | June 6, 2008

Another great event at the Monterey Plaza Hotel!! Rachel & Patrick came down from San Jose last Friday to get married at one of the peninsula's premier venues. The weather was perfect, the bride was glowing, and even the dogs cooperated. Here are a few of my favorites:

Sharon & Hunter | May 31, 2008

CONGRATULATIONS, Sharon & Hunter!! First off these 2 were so easy and great to photograph. I LOVE photographing out at the Santa Lucia Preserve were they had their wedding. From the Hacienda, to the redwood grove, to Molly (their dog) as the flower girl, to the private residence for the reception - everything turned out perfect. Everyone was just so much fun - take a look at a few of my favs:

Monterey Peninsula College | Commercial Shoot

We worked with the Anda | Burghardt Advertising agency to capture these images of the Monterey Peninsula College. This was for the English as a Second Language department, to promote the strengths of their ESL program, and they will be used in marketing materials, ads and on the website. It was a full 2 days of shooting and we had a chance to work with a lot of great students - so here are a few of my favorites:

Last Saturday we were lucky enough to photograph Amy & Bill's wedding at the beautiful Monterey Peninsula Country Club. I think it's safe to say everyone have a great day and the happy couple was so much fun to work with! Here are a few of my favorite shots:
