This year our annual Town & Country Magazine event was held at a beautiful private residence above Pebble Beach's famous Stillwater Cove. More than ever exotic cars were seen everywhere and the Concour's D'Elegance is as popular as ever. Here are a few from the night:

Sarah & Perkin | Engagement Session

Sarah and Perkin are a local couple that are planning their wedding here on the Monterey Peninsula. It was refreshing to work in Carmel Valley for a change, the quality of light was wonderful. The animals behaved and added a nice flavor to their images.

The Bode Family | Family Lifestyle Photography

Angie called me and wanted to do a family portrait for her mother's birthday. We had a great time even though the fog blew in pretty thick. Brian and Angie own the coolest Salon in town - Oya Salon & Agency. They do a lot of hair and makeup for our brides.

Jennifer & Edward | The Clement Monterey

We finally did our first wedding at the Intercontinental Hotel, The Clement Monterey. It's a stunning, contemporary venue which is refreshing for Monterey. Perched on the rocks of Cannery Row, this hotel is within walking distance of the studio. Jennifer and Edward were a perfect fit for this new jewel. I enjoyed capturing the emotion this family shared, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Especially, Jennifer's father who is a popular Bay area radio host, Don Bleu on Star 103. If you are in Monterey be sure to stop by the studio to pick up some Aquarium tickets and have lunch at The C Restaurant (at The Clement).

Julia & Tim | Holman Ranch Wedding

This is the first wedding I've done at the Ranch since Hunter & Nick finished their improvements. Holman Ranch is now one of the most attractive destination venues in California. After a blustery morning the sun popped out just at they walked down the aisle. Julia and Tim creatively selected their "favorite hikes" as the table themes. Allison did a masterful job executing this one - bravo! Needless to say I couldn't convince them to take me on their honeymoon to Africa.

Sarah & Jay | Mission Ranch Associate Wedding

Sarah and Jay are an unbelievably sweet couple. On their own they are wonderful individuals, but together they truly shine. Despite a socked-in foggy Carmel Saturday everyone was out for a good time and I got some beautiful photos, check out my favs:

I love, love, love Katy's wedding. It was at a beautiful Big Sur venue. Everything co-operated, from the weather to their dog, Sam. I had my A-team of Randall and Theresa helping me out and they did a great job.
