This year our annual Town & Country Magazine event was held at a beautiful private residence above Pebble Beach's famous Stillwater Cove. More than ever exotic cars were seen everywhere and the Concour's D'Elegance is as popular as ever. Here are a few from the night:

Critics Choice Dining Guide | Commercial Food Photography

Many of you know me for my wedding photography, or portrait photography, but as long as I can remember I have been photographing commercial jobs and especially food. I have been long time friends with my clients at Critics Choice Dining Guide. I'm sure you have seen the Dining Guide many places around the Monterey Bay area - it's the comprehensive guide to the best places to eat in Monterey, Carmel, Carmel Valley and Pacific Grove. Fashion Shoot for Pebble Beach Spa

Pebble Beach is our best commercial client and I enjoy working for them. After scouting the Spa a couple of days ago we had our model all lined up and went to work photographing at the Pebble Beach Spa for the cover of their new brochure. Our model Sara is such a professional and a pleasure to work with. We first met when she was a bridesmaid at a wedding I photographed at Clint Eastwood's Golf Club, Tehama. Here are a few of the shots I liked:

Do You Feel......Swanky?

We had a fashion shoot for Swanky Wear - an up and coming clothing line. And as they say on their website 'either you got it or you don't!' Check them out here:

It was a fun shoot, a couple of models to work with and we were being filmed during the shoot for an little TV ad that we'll have to look out for in the future. Here's a couple of shots from the day:

Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula | Commercial Shoot

We had a Commercial job the other day for CHOMP, the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. This photo will be used in an ad to illustrate the high standards of cleanliness they have up at the hospital. And the bottom photo was just for fun, of Theresa Moore (our Studio Manager & Photographer), and myself.

Mercedes-Benz Event with Lead Singer of Train | August 15, 2008

Another over-the-top event at the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance - the Mercedes-Benz Lounge. Jay Leno made an appearance and so did the lead singer of the rock band Train, Pat Monahan. Here are a couple from the night:

Lexus Fashion Preview | August 15, 2008

I was hired as the official social photographer for the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance this year and my first job was the Lexus Fashion Preview. The Concours is the biggest car show in the world, drawing a wide range of people to Pebble Beach for the week, from celebs to CEOs of the major car companies in the world. Photographed Lea Salonga for Venice Magazine

Getting back from Chicago the other day, I had the opportunity to photograph the Tony-award winning Lea Salonga for a long time client - Venice Magazine. I didn't know it but she won the Tony for her performance in Miss Saigon in 1989 and she was also the singing voice of Princess Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin (among a ton of other performances). My daughter Kate was most excited to hear that I had met Princess Jasmine that day. Take a look at Lea's website for more about her.

Monterey Peninsula College | Commercial Shoot

We worked with the Anda | Burghardt Advertising agency to capture these images of the Monterey Peninsula College. This was for the English as a Second Language department, to promote the strengths of their ESL program, and they will be used in marketing materials, ads and on the website. It was a full 2 days of shooting and we had a chance to work with a lot of great students - so here are a few of my favorites:
